2026 Boston Mayor's Cup Soccer Tournament & Festival

Mayor Michelle Wu and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department have officially announced the 2026 Mayor’s Cup Soccer Tournament and Festival! Young athletes from across Boston will hit the pitch to compete for the title of “Boston’s Best” across both competitive (Premier) and recreational divisions.

Tournament Overview & Key Details

• Cost: $0.00 (Free for all CYSA teams)

• Format: 7v7 play | Maximum roster size of 15 players

• Guaranteed Play: Every team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games

• Registration Deadline: 10/15 for Graders 3-5, 11/1 for grades 6-12

• Uniforms: We will wear our CYSA uniforms.

• Perks: All participants receive exclusive Mayor’s Cup swag!

Dates, Locations & Age Division Breakdown

The tournament takes place over two primary weekends based on age group:

Weekend 1: October 24 – October 25, 2026

Location: Boston Scores Soccer Fields (150 Byron Street, East Boston, MA 02128)

• Grade 3: Boys & Girls (Recreational & Premier)

• Grade 4: Boys & Girls (Recreational & Premier)

• Grade 5: Boys & Girls (Premier)

Note: If necessary, overflow playoff games for Weekend 1 divisions may carry over to November 7th–8th.

Weekend 2: November 7 – November 8, 2026

Location: Saunders Stadium at Moakley Park (1005 Columbia Road, Boston, MA 02127)

• Grade 6: Boys & Girls (Recreational & Premier)

• Grades 7/8: Boys & Girls (Recreational & Premier)

• Grades 9–12 (High School): Boys & Girls (Premier)

• Coed Division: Challenger Division
