Tournaments

 

CYSA aims to participate in Tournaments during the Fall and Spring Season.  In the past we have traveled to Natick, Needham, Mansfileld, Wellsley, and North Reading.  Look for information on your email about the next opportunity.

 

2025 Natick Columbus Day Weekend Tournament 

Coaches will have the option to take their team, if not we will form teams based on registration.

Tournament Format

Grade Level Format
Grade 2 (U8)  5v5 format 3 games, either on Saturday or Sunday All players receive participation medals. Two 20-minute halves. No semi-final or championship games.
Grade 3-4 (U9-10)  7v7 format 4 games, all on Saturday and Sunday All players receive participation medals. Two 25-minute halves. No semi-final or championship games.
Grade 5-6 (U11-12)  9v9 format 3 game minimum, played Saturday & Sunday Winners advance to semi-finals and finals on Sunday or Monday. Preliminary games will be two 25-minute halves. Semi-final and championship games will be two 30-minute halves. See tournament rules for more on rules for advancement and overtime.
Grades 7-8 (U13-14) 11v11 format 3 game minimum, played Saturday & Sunday Winners advance to semi-finals and finals on Sunday or Monday. Preliminary games will be two 25-minute halves. G8 (U14) 8th Grade or lower AND born on or after JAN 1, 2011 & Younger
G7 (U13) 7th Grade or lower AND born on or after JAN 1, 2012 & Younger
G6 (U12) 6th Grade or lower AND born on or after JAN 1, 2013 & Younger
G5 (U11) 5th Grade or lower AND born on or after JAN 1, 2014 & Younger
G4 (U10) 4th Grade or lower AND born on or after JAN 1, 2015 & Younger
G3 (U9) 3rd Grade or lower AND born on or after JAN 1, 2016 & Younger
G2 (U8) 2nd Grade or lower AND born on or after JAN 1, 2017 & Younger
